There has been an attempt to follow and agile methodology recently and it feels like something is missed in the concept of iterations
we have a task list, and a different set of tasks is assigned to different iterations
However, these "iterations" feel more like phases and we are not meeting with the Businesses until each "iteration" is complete
I was under the impression that an iteration was a period of time, and at the end of which the business meets with the developers to discuss progress regardless of how many tasks/user stories have been completed
Tasks are also being assigned to people on creation, so somebody decides something needs doing and imediately that task is assigned to a member of IT
What we are doing feels much more like a waterfall approach.
